Very unprofessional experience with Bill from Courteaux Electric with set up for new pool construction through Myrick Pools.4 months ago, Bill arrived unannounced to our home to inspect our panel for pool equipment set up.He told me “your panel has about 8 violations (he is NOT there as an inspector on our panel that has already passed code!) and “you need to hire an electrician to clean this up”.He asked for a pen and paper, & when I returned to hand it to him, he said, “No, YOU write this down”.We did as he asked, paying out of pocket for 2nd sub panel, and his “clean up” requests, knowing our panel needed room for pool equipment.Bill returned this week and REFUSED to compete the job again!!It took a call from Myrick Pools to bring him back to our house, but with the stipulation that Bill WOULD NOT BE CONNECTING THE POOL LINES TO SUB PANEL, and we needed to hire an electrician again!!Bill explained to me it was bc of “loose wires and neutrals; concentric holes were not punched out for him; and he was not going to be responsible if my lights flickered” after he left.Are you not a certified electrician that can screw down lose wires?!Why would he not ask us to hire HIM or another Courteaux Electrician to get this done to their “standard”?!He had the audacity to ask me if my husband “did the work?”!No!! We hired a personal electrician with the requests you demanded.We have been told by 3 other electricians that his demands were over the top, unreasonable and not in his pervuefor this job.We are left with hiring an electrician, paying for materials to run wire under the house to the Main or New Sub Panel (Bill had either to choose from!) into the garage.Shame on Myrick Pools for allowing this poor customer service, unprofessionalism and breech of contract to occur!!!
